When purchasing a starter kit, you have a choice of module. The following explains the different types of connection options available. Since COBRA is a universal system, the 18R2 can operate any number of COBRA modules regardless of how many cues on the module or connection type. When purchasing a starter kit, you can add additional modules to your order and have full confidence everything will work seamlessly together.

Quickplugs™

The most affordable, and easiest method for connecting Clip-On Igniters and MJG Initiators to your firing module. New to e-firing, this is the way to go!

COBRA Quickplugs are currently a BETA release. A BETA release is the first public release of a product. The Quickplugs have gone through multiple rounds of both internal and customer-use testing. The goal of our BETA release is to release this product in a larger quantity public release to fine tune any potential minor issues, if any. ×

Onboard Terminals

Traditional speaker terminals for connecting your igniters or e-match built onto the module without the requirement for cables or slats.

Slats

Slats are a stand-alone circuit board for connecting your igniters or e-match. You then connect the slats to the module using cables. When connecting multiple slats together, they will fire at the same time as the module.

After choosing your remote and firing module configuration, you will want to purchase igniters. COBRA offers both  Clip-On Igniters and MJG Initiators, explained below. Both Clip-On Igniters and MJG Initiators are available with and without Quickplugs. Quantity discounts are also available and are listed on the individual product pages.
