The Audio Box LiPo Upgrade Kit is used to upgrade any Audio Boxes purchased prior to November 2021 to include the LiPo recharge function and 1.4" screen.

The built-in 2,000 mAh LiPo battery improves the life of the Audio Box from around 2 hours using AA batteries to 10 hours.

The charger both powers and charges the unit at the same time. You can leave the charger plugged in during a show to ensure constant full power.

The 1.4" screen allows you to easily see signal strength, battery life, and audio filename/position.

The upgrade process is performed with only a screwdriver and a bit of patience; unscrew the Audio Box faceplate, remove the mainboard, plug it into the upgrade kit, add the battery, and reassemble.

Firmware 5.1.4 or higher is required to use the Audio Box with LiPo. If you own equipment on a lower firmware version, you will need to upgrade the equipment to 5.1.4 to use with the Audiobox with LiPo.
